The Sunday School collection was inspired by my experience growing up in a Vietnamese Catholic household. At my Sunday school, students had to wear a plain white traditional Vietnamese ao dai, which did not allow for any individuality to shine through. For my designs, I wanted to modernize this traditional Vietnamese silhouette without culturally appropriating it so that Gen Z consumers from all backgrounds could wear this visually-striking collection.

Mental Wealth is the collection that I made for Apt. 9 Mens. This collection was motivated by the fact that it is important for brands to uplift Asian male-identifying customers. By adopting Asian silhouettes, traditional patterns, and symbolic imagery, Asian male customers will feel empowered and heard. The healing t-shirt was sold at Kohl's on May 2022 for AAPI Month.
This is a 2022 Fashion Scholarship Fund award-winning case study. 3.2.1 Breathe Masks is a collection of masks in collaboration with the brand 3.1 Phillip Lim, an accessible luxury brand that was founded by Asian American fashion designers, Phillip Lim and Wen Zhou.
Boss Girl is a Fall collection I made for Nine West. Their current customer is urban, chic, and likes to make a statement at work. Because of COVID-19, the customer’s business might have been affected, so they are extremely excited to finally go outside and make an impact. Nine West is known for their completer pieces and everyday dresses, so I kept that in mind while creating my collection.
Timeline is a sustainable and timeless clothing brand made by Trish Le in 2020. This luxury brand strives to please consumers with an appreciation for utilitarian and versatile design. Dedicated to transparency and authenticity, Timeline promises to be current with the ever-changing social climate, modern with the new generation, and true to our breadth of sophistication.
