ABOUT MY POSITION
At FIGS, I sketched and ideated limited edition styles for Q3 2024 to Q2 2026 apparel collections, lead projects that optimized production and design efficiency such as building our trims library, creating PLM SOPs, tracking lab dips across all apparel, and formatting line sheets. I built and maintained core and limited edition style BOMs in Centric from handoff until the PO’s were sent out. I delegated tasks to wider team leading up to and following milestone meetings, such as initial sketch review and final line review with leadership. I updated style sketches and BOMs following model fittings, sample reviews, and leadership meetings. I collaborated with cross functional partners, such as Tech, PD, Raw Materials, Color, and Merchandising to create product in a timely manner. I implemented comp shopping and trend research into the design process for each quarter.
My Time at FIGS

Designing for health care professionals (HCPs) will remain one of the most fulfilling roles I have accomplished in my life thus far! My sister is studying to become a doctor, so I knew I had to jump at the opportunity to learn how to support and understand the wants and needs of HCPs. I got the opportunity to speak to the community and design uniforms that they want to where everyday to make their jobs easier. "Help those who help others" was the goal in every thing I did at FIGS. Looking back on the projects I got to directly help design, including the Olympics capsule, the Indestructible collection, the Star Wars collab, the FORMx drop, and Breast Cancer awareness campaign, I am forever grateful for this experience.
